City Slicker Farms is a west oakland based non-profit that manages several community garden plots and installs backyard edible gardens for low-income families – educating them about how to maintain them throughout the seasons. all edibles formed a partnership with city slicker farms in october 2007 and holds a place on their board, helps sponsor their presence at events, and sources a percentage of plants installed for all edibles clients from the City Slicker Farms Nursery.

Ecohome Improvement is a retail space and showroom displaying and offering ecological and healthy products for the home. The whole crew at work there are close friends and owners/founders, taja and nina, have an all edibles designed and installed entirely edible landscape in their backyard (with a lot of berries)! Ecohome Improvement is our source for a non-toxic, water-based stain that we use on salvaged wood for planter boxes.
