Kirk Saunders has studied fine art, physics, natural building, and sustainable urban design. A passion for good food and good design have lead to the view that urban food gardening offers an exciting opportunity to confront the most pressing issues of the world in a way that empowers and nourishes individuals and communities.

"what could be more empowering than walking out your front door and harvesting dinner from your own yard?"

"everybody remembers grandma's garden. growing our own food is not so much about diffusing a new idea, but rather reviving one that has been forgotten somewhere along the way."
